The primary reason for forming this society is to focus entirely on social welfare of our members , Burmese cultural promotion, traditional food, sports, and release of stress by family gatherings.

SOCIETY'S PURPOSES

The Myanmar Muslim Society of Vancouver plan to foster unity and mutual support while advancing the

social, cultural, educational, religious, and welfare interests of its community in Canada. The

organization intend to provide settlement assistance to newcomers, and organizes social gatherings,

provides care for the elderly, and offers critical chaplaincy and emotional support during intense life and

death situations. To sustainably achieve these goals, the society plan to actively manages gatherings,

fundraises legally, and collaborates with external Canadian institutions on public community

programming.

OUR STORY

The Myanmar Muslim Society of Vancouver, Canada (MMSVC) was established to bring our community together and strengthen the bonds among Myanmar Muslims living in British Columbia. Our society was founded with the goal of supporting the social welfare of our members while preserving our Burmese heritage and Islamic values.

Through cultural celebrations, traditional food, sports, family gatherings, and community events, we aim to promote unity, reduce stress, and create a welcoming environment where individuals and families can connect, support one another, and build lasting friendships.
